We’re Chip and Joanna Gaines, founders of Magnolia, hosts of “Fixer Upper” and long-time supporters of Make-A-Wish®. Both are all about restoration: we restore homes and Make-A-Wish restores hope and joy by granting wishes to children fighting critical illnesses. And right now, your donation can do twice as much to help.
We’re so thankful to get to do what we do, and one of the most rewarding parts of our work is that it has led us to opportunities where we get to meet inspiring people like Olivia. Olivia is a cheerful, inquisitive 14-year-old with a love of architecture and design. She’s also fighting a critical heart condition, but she doesn’t let this hold her back from dreaming big.
We’re reaching out to you with another inspiring opportunity: the chance to double the impact of your gift and make even more wishes come true, thanks to a generous donor. Please consider making a donation today, while it can go twice as far for kids like Olivia.
A fan of “Fixer Upper”, Olivia especially enjoyed watching the renovation of the Castle in Waco (it’s one of our favorites, too). So when Olivia asked to meet us as her wish, we knew just how to make her day extra special. |
First, Olivia and her family enjoyed breakfast at our restaurant, Magnolia Table ― you can’t explore on an empty stomach! Then, team Make-A-Wish whisked them away to the Castle Olivia watched us renovate on TV. They were escorted on a private tour of the Castle’s three floors, and Olivia got to ask as many questions as she wanted.
Then, we brought Olivia and her family to our Magnolia headquarters, where we had the honor of spending some time with them.
It was such a special day and we hope Olivia and her family have memories they’ll treasure too.
Will you help make wishes come true for more kids like Olivia, who are fighting critical illnesses? Wishes mean so much to these kids. Wish experiences have been shown to give children the joy, hope and strength to continue fighting and even overcome their illnesses.
Your gift today will go TWICE as far to help grant a wish for a child fighting a critical illness ― a child who is still waiting for their wish to come true. That’s why we hope you’ll make a donation now to grant 2X more wishes.
Thank you so much for all you do for wish kids! |
Gratefully,
Chip and Joanna Gaines |
