This morning, Australians across the country gathered to honour the fallen, the returned, and all who have worn our nation’s uniform in defence of our freedom.

ANZAC Day is a powerful reminder that the right to participate in democracy, register a political party, and vote in elections exists only because brave Australians fought to defend those principles.

We all owe a deep debt of gratitude to the men and women of our armed forces – past and present – who have safeguarded our democracy and way of life.

Democracy is not easy. It demands effort, courage, and conviction. But defending it–truly defending it–has always been the challenge.

That’s why Pauline Hanson’s One Nation continues to champion the values that so many served to protect. We believe in free speech, national sovereignty, and the rights of ordinary Australians to shape their country without fear or favour.

In recent weeks, One Nation has strongly supported the expansion of Australia’s defence capabilities, advocating for greater investment in our military assets to ensure we are never left vulnerable in an uncertain world.

Today, after the ceremonies and moments of silence, we reflect with pride, sorrow, and resolve to continue building a nation worthy of the sacrifices made in its name.
