** Recent Wins by Legislative Republicans in Olympia
------------------------------------------------------------

Bellevue—In a state with one-party Democrat rule, Legislative Republicans are compelled to play defense. Still, there are Legislative wins by Republicans wins worth noting.

“We played our cards particularly well this time, and we were successful in stopping SB 5098—an anti-gun-rights bill that would have added more restrictions to Washington’s Open Carry Policy,” says WAGOP Chairman and State Rep. Jim Walsh in his latest Chairman’s update ([link removed]) video, noting recent legislative wins by legislative Republicans. (PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK ABOVE TO VIEW.)

Another bill that Republicans in the WA Legislature killed was the highly controversial SB 5068 which would allow non-citizens to work as law enforcement officers, county prosecutors, or other first responders.

Please continue to oppose bad bills ([link removed]) and bombard Governor Bob Ferguson’s Office with phone calls to complain about Democrats’ largest tax package in WA state history: 360-902-4111. There is no end to their greed.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Matthew Frohlich, WAGOP Executive Director
