Election Day is May 3rd Dear San Antonio Voters: Our City Election for all San Antonio City Council seats and the Mayor has arrived. There are common-sense conservative candidates in every race. Local government impacts our daily lives – from public safety to infrastructure, taxes, businesses, and the economy. Yet historically, only 7% to 11% of our citizens turn out to vote in our city elections. It's time to change that. Key Issues Affecting Our City Public Safety: Do you and your family feel safe in San Antonio with the rising crime rate and the high vacancies in our police department? Roads and Sidewalks: Are you satisfied with the condition of our roads and sidewalks in your district and downtown? Water Bills: Do you have a problem paying high water bills resulting from our poor infrastructure, outdated leaking pipes, and poor drainage throughout the city? Small Business and Employment: Are you content with the small business and employment opportunities in San Antonio? Tax Dollar Allocation: Are you frustrated with the liberal progressive City Council members and the current Mayor using your tax dollars for their pet projects? Examples of recent Misallocated Funds $100,000 to pay for out-of-state travel for abortions with our tax dollars. (Reproductive Justice Fund) Paving South Alamo Street temporarily for the Final Four, then tearing it up at a cost of $800,000 or more. (City will repave South Alamo for Final Four — then rip it back up, Express News, 3/19/2025) $3.5 million to start work on bike network plan in the City’s 2025 budget that can cost between $3 billion and $8 billion over the next 25 years. Approving an E-bike voucher program that will provide 244 applicants with $1,000 vouchers ($244,000) to qualifying San Antonio Residents. Participants can sell the e-bike after one year. Choosing the Right Candidate Choosing the Right Candidate There are 27 Mayoral candidates that will split the vote. (7 are conservative) Please ask yourself these questions: Does my candidate have the best strategy to victory? Does my candidate have endorsements? (Elected officials, Business Leaders, etc.) Has my candidate raised money and can afford a runoff? Can my candidate bring in swing voters?
