Across the country, people are telling how Trump's tariffs and deep cuts
to Medicaid, SNAP, and other government programs negatively impact their
lives, health, retirement, families, businesses, and communities.

We are using these personal stories to show members of Congress and the
media the real world consequences of Trump’s agenda. (If you know someone
who supported Trump or is a small business person impacted by tariffs,
their voice could be particularly powerful – please forward this to them!)

Trump’s agenda threatens everyone. For example:

Even if you have your own health coverage, an underfunded ER or a
bankrupted hospital in your town puts you at risk.

Slashed food-assistance budgets raise costs for local schools, shelters,
and hospitals.

Every dollar showered on billionaires is a dollar stolen from roads,
teachers, and services we all rely on.

When Republicans tried to repeal the Affordable Care Act, stories from
everyday Americans — many of them Trump voters — successfully stopped
their attacks. The same pressure can kill Trump’s disastrous agenda, but
only if Congress and the press see, hear, and feel the human cost.

If you can’t think of a way you are personally impacted, you can still
help!

 1. Forward this email to a veteran, retiree, nurse, teacher, farmer, or
extended family member who will be impacted and urge them to add their
voice. Trump voters will be particularly resonant with Republicans in
Congress.
