Donald Trump just ordered a politically-motivated “inquiry” into ActBlue –
the fundraising platform that powers Democratic campaigns and
organizations.

I want to be very clear about something: ActBlue is still the best tool
you can use to support our work. Contributions through ActBlue are safe,
legal, and secure.

Still, this is a brazen attempt by Trump to silence his opponents and
consolidate his political power. He isn’t just coming after a fundraising
platform – he’s coming after YOU and your right to support the candidates
and causes of your choice.

Trump is trying to take us down by attacking the platform that we rely on
to fuel our grassroots movements to elect younger leaders, respond to the
climate crisis, end gun violence, defend LGBTQ+ equality, restore abortion
access, and more.

This is a direct attack on our democracy and an attempt to stop the
movements we’re building in their tracks. But we don’t have to accept this
– we can fight back.
