The crisis unfolding before our eyes can no longer be ignored.
The CDC now estimates that 1 in 31 eight-year-old children had an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in 2022 – a 17% increase from just two years prior. Even more alarming is the autism diagnosis rate among four-year-olds which has skyrocketed — 70% higher than what we saw in the same age group eight years earlier.
This is beyond an epidemic. It’s an emergency. There are more toxic chemicals in our environment than ever before. Together with an ever-expanding childhood vaccine schedule, these toxic exposures are fueling the rise in autism — highlighting the urgent need to identify the exact causes and reduce or eliminate them.
What was once rare is now everywhere.
Government agencies still tell us, “We don’t know what causes autism.” That is unconscionable. We deserve answers from our public servants — accurate and actionable answers. And we at CHD plan to get them.
We demand truth, transparency, and accountability. We demand real science. And most of all, we demand answers that lead to action, for the sake of our children and future generations.
We are not powerless. With you by our side – parents, advocates, medical professionals, and truth-seekers — we are building a movement. And with our founder now leading the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, we are closer than ever to uncovering the truth we’ve been fighting for.
