Team — Earlier today, Donald Trump called for an investigation into ActBlue, a tool Democratic campaigns around the country use to raise grassroots money.

The latest action from Donald Trump is nothing more than an attempt to silence voters and hinder their ability to make an impact on our elections.

Platforms like ActBlue empower everyday people to make an impact on political campaigns. Unlike Elon Musk, who can write multi-million-dollar checks, grassroots donors rely on ActBlue and other tools to participate in our elections and show their support for the candidates who will deliver for them.

You shouldn’t have to be a billionaire to make a difference. That’s not how our democracy should work.

I will fight Donald Trump’s sham investigation. He is trying to dismantle our democracy and keep power in his own hands. But Donald Trump is not a king, and I will not let him act like one.

No matter what happens, I want you to recognize the power of your vote and your voice in our democracy. Donald Trump and Elon Musk might try to silence us — but when we all speak out, attend rallies, and pitch in, we can make a difference.
