assumption:

You care *a lot* about the future of the Democratic Party.

I do too, John. I want our party
to be strong. And I believe that building a strong party requires us to
actually listen to our voters.

In a recent poll, 69% of Democrats say “the Democratic Party should
encourage elderly leaders to retire and pass the torch to the next
generation.”

The base of our party has spoken loud and clear. The time for new
leadership is right now.

That’s why Leaders We Deserve announced a major $20 million effort to
support young leaders who step up to run against ineffective, out-of-touch
Democrats in safe blue seats.

Too many elected leaders in the Democratic Party are either unwilling or
unable to meet the moment and are asleep at the wheel while Trump is
demolishing the economy, challenging the foundations of our democracy, and
creating new existential crises for our country by the day.

No other generation grew up as the “mass shooting” generation.

No other generation was raised in our hyper-polarized media landscape
dominated by social media, technology, disinformation, and AI.

No other generation grew up at a time when Donald Trump and his deranged
MAGA cult have defined the Republican Party. The conservative party of our
parents’ generation simply doesn’t exist anymore.

And despite it all, WE are the ones most directly impacted by most of the
legislation being debated in Congress and in state houses across the
country. WE are the ones who will actually live through the consequences
of this damage.

Leaders We Deserve exists to elect young, audacious, and charismatic
leaders who aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo. And with your help,
