The Federal Government just filed a brief in U.S. v. Brown arguing that machine guns can be BANNED because they are “not in common use for lawful purposes.” 

And here’s the kicker: they directly cited The Trace in their arguments. The Trace is a blatantly anti-gun propaganda outlet backed by Bloomberg and Everytown!

This latest filing is deeply concerning, which is why FPC put out a statement immediately today condemning the brief.

“This insanely offensive brief should never have been filed in any court, let alone at the Fifth Circuit…This is a prime example of why President Trump should appoint a competent Second Amendment czar to coordinate the administration’s agenda across the government and with stakeholders in Second Amendment litigation.”
