In his first months in office, President Trump has expanded executive power to levels we’ve never seen as a country.

He has ignored our Constitution and forced law firms, academic institutions, and corporations to bend to his will—or face the consequences. He’s attacked our closest allies. And he’s threatened repeatedly to go after his political rivals.

Now, he’s actually doing it. President Trump is targeting our central grassroots fundraising platform, ActBlue, for alleged "illegal foreign contributions."

ActBlue helps small-dollar donors support the candidates and causes they care about most. It means we can run grassroots campaigns instead of ones funded by super PACs and billionaires.

These attacks are consistent with Trump’s agenda to shut down opposition and impose his authoritarian vision on our country. No thanks.
