When we created the Baby Olivia video, we chose her name with careful intention.

Over the last few years, Olivia has been one of the most popular names in the world — a name widely recognized as beautiful.

It also means “olive tree” in Latin — a symbol of peace and hope that goes back to the days of Noah, the ancient Greeks, and even the early Church. Just like the olive branch, Olivia reminds us of the promise of new life, restoration, and God’s enduring peace.

Maybe you know an Olivia — a daughter, friend, sister, or even your own child — whose presence has positively impacted your life.

We picked the name because we wanted her to feel real, to reflect every baby’s humanity.

And she is real — not just because of the science showing her development but also because of what has happened since her video began changing hearts and saving lives.

One mother told us that, after watching Baby Olivia while pregnant, she rejected abortion (even though she had been considering it) — and then named her daughter Olivia!
