Friend,

We’ve seen this story before: an entrenched incumbent believes they’re too powerful to be voted out of office. They’re met by a progressive, grassroots challenger. Their challenger is out-raised and given little media attention, but still manages to garner the support of thousands of individuals. The incumbent, with all their corporate support and political power, loses to the will of the people.

This is the story of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, and soon Alex Morse.

Our movement is built by the support of our communities and the will of the people who believe that a better future and fairer democracy is possible. If you believe in a better future, can you chip in today to help us reach our mid-month goal of $4,000?

The American Prospect recognizes that our race is becoming increasingly competitive.

"The American Prospect: Why Richard Neal's Seat Is No Longer Safe"

The American Prospect is calling Neal's tenure a "war on the people of Massachusetts". That's because Neal has repeatedly sided with corporate profits over the people of the First District.

"This year, Neal has collected more PAC donations than all but one member of Congress, with top donations coming from the hospital lobby, private equity, and capital-management PACs, all of which have crippled hospitals in Neal’s district while providing their CEOs with millions in executive compensation."

It’s time we replace Neal and his corporate status quo with a people’s champion. Neal is a roadblock to achieving Medicare for All, and other transformative solutions to take on our district and country’s growing problems. Alex is running to enact these bold solutions including a Green New Deal, a federal jobs guarantee, and student loan reform.

We need to raise $4,000 in order to start running our first digital ads this week. If you believe it’s time that we remove the biggest roadblock to the progressive agenda from Congress, then make a contribution today to support our movement for a stronger, people-powered democracy.
