Friend,

At my recent town hall in Georgia, I went to fulfill my promise to serve my constituents and listen to them as I represent their interests in Congress.

Unfortunately, deranged leftist protestors immediately sought to turn the event violent.

This wasn’t just a protest...
This was much more deliberate, and much more dangerous.

It was so violent that one of the attackers was charged with Terroristic Threats and Acts, a serious felony under Georgia law.

A real image of a leftist fighting the police at my town hall.

They resisted arrest.

They assaulted police officers.

And they made it clear: they came for me.

A violent leftist attacking a police officer who asked him to leave the event.

They wanted to send a message to me, and to you, and to everybody else in our movement: “Back down, or else.”

The only thing standing between me and real harm was the brave law enforcement officers who stepped in... And thank God they did.

But here’s the hard truth, Friend: Those officers aren’t with me 24/7.

I’ve had sitting Members of Congress go on CNN and call for “actual weapons” to be used against me. I routinely get death threats sent to my home, my office, and to my family.

In fact, I receive the most death threats of anyone in Congress.

I know how it feels to carry on with a smile while knowing there are people who would celebrate if I didn’t make it home.

The threats don’t stop when these events end. They don’t stop when the cameras turn off. They don’t stop when I go home.

I face these threats every single day and the more I speak the truth, the more the radical Left tries to shut me down.

It’s becoming clearer than ever that I need to step up my security detail until things calm down, but as a rank and file Member of Congress I have to pay for that with campaign funds or out of pocket. And after this has happened so many times I don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to keep funding it on my own.

That’s why I need your help to boost my security detail, Friend – not out of fear, but out of necessity.

I don’t say that lightly and I don’t ask for help casually.

DEFEND MTG

When I walk to my car, when I lay down at night, I know the threats don’t clock out just because the cameras do.

That night I had law enforcement between me and the people who came to shut me down but the police aren’t always there – and the people that sent those agitators to wage violence know that.

I wouldn’t ask if this wasn’t very, very real. If you’re able to help, I hope you know how much it means to me and to this movement.

With strength and gratitude,

Marjorie Taylor Greene
