BREAKING: Moments ago, Donald Trump signed an Executive Order weaponizing
the Department of Justice against ActBlue — the small-d-democracy donation
site that powers nearly every Democratic campaign and organization,
   including ours.

Trump is trying to use the power of the federal government to silence
   political opposition.
Billionaires like Elon Musk spend millions to support Republicans, while
Trump is attacking a platform that fuels small-dollar grassroots
   Democratic campaigns.
This is a partisan attack on grassroots organizing. The ability to chip in
a few dollars to candidates we support is one of the ways that
non-billionaire voters make our voices heard.
Top Democrats and campaign experts are sounding the alarm:
"Republicans are attacking ActBlue to make it harder for regular people to
contribute to Democrats and make it easier for billionaires to buy
elections for Republicans." – Tim Tagaris, Senior Advisor to Bernie
Sanders in 2020 and Kamala Harris in 2024
"There’s no platform with ActBlue’s reach you could swap in tomorrow…
Democrats should protest, fight [Trump’s actions] in court, keep using
ActBlue." – Tim Lin, Democratic Digital Strategist
Trump’s goal is simple and obvious: choke off the grassroots pipeline that
lets millions of people give $3, $10, or $27 to the candidates and causes
they believe in. If he succeeds, every Democratic fight — from protecting
health care to defending reproductive freedom — will be starved of
   resources.

lights on for every campaign that relies on it, and show the country that
   bullying just make Democrats stronger.
Thanks for being a bold progressive.
