Hi John,

This past week, we learned that the GOP launched their first round of attack ads against me. So I wanted you to hear directly from me about what this means for our campaign and personally ask you to chip in a few dollars to our end-of-month goal so our team has the resources to push back against these attack ads.

I wish I had better news to share, but the truth is, their attacks are picking up steam. Just six months after the last election, they’re already running ads with blatant lies and misinformation.

After talking to my team, it’s clear that we need to respond forcefully. The GOP is pulling out all the stops this early in the cycle because they know ME-02 is one of the most competitive districts on the map. They’re trying to buy my seat, and we need to come together to show them that this district belongs to the people - not the highest bidder.

That’s where you come in, John. I’m hoping that you can help us correct the record and invest in ads of our own to ensure ME-02 voters know the truth about my record of service. Will you chip in $10, $25, or whatever you can to our end-of-month goal?
