John — Earlier today, Donald Trump took action to attack our free speech and weaken the power of grassroots supporters. 

His order specifically targets ActBlue, a platform that Democratic campaigns across the country — including ours — use to raise grassroots dollars that power our work.

This action isn’t about making our elections more fair or secure, fighting corruption, or anything that MAGA Republicans claim to care about. 

It’s about preventing small-dollar donors from fighting back against their extremist agenda — and stopping campaigns like ours from defeating them at the ballot box.

This grassroots team knows better than any what people power can accomplish. 

In 2022, the odds were stacked against us. MAGA Republican Kari Lake had the full backing of the Trump fundraising machine. A handful of wealthy, right-wing millionaires funded attack ads against me to stoke fear and confuse voters about what we were fighting for.

But folks like you pitched in what they could, when they could — and because of that, we won.

That’s how our democracy should work, John. People power, not millionaire and billionaire power. 

So here’s the bottom line: I’m going to fight this outrageous attack on our democracy. I’m going to continue fighting for hardworking Arizonans, not billionaires.
