Hi John,
Access to Wisconsin’s natural beauty is at risk.
Development pressures are rising, yet Wisconsin ranks last in the country for spending on state parks. That’s why reauthorizing the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program is critical – it protects the places where we hike, paddle, hunt, fish, and find peace.
At Conservation Lobby Day on May 6 , you’ll have the chance to meet with your legislators and urge them to support Gov. Evers’ budget proposal to:
* Reauthorize the Stewardship Program for 10 years at $100 million per year
* Expand trail and habitat restoration
* Support local parks and recreation
* Create a Tribal-state land management partnership in the ceded territories
With fairer legislative maps and a more balanced state legislature, this is our moment to demand real representation. Join us and make your voice impossible to ignore.
