The Trump administration’s reported memorandum targeting ActBlue is an obvious and un-American attack on democracy and a clear attempt to try to silence political opposition. This is not the first from this regime, nor will it be the last. We fully believe that Trump’s intent is to criminalize dissent, and he is attempting to starve you and the communities you serve of the tools and funding you need to exercise your constitutionally guaranteed free speech, association, and opposition to his crude agenda. Progressives — and everyone who cares about democracy — should stand in solidarity with ActBlue and others attacked by this administration.

We at Action Network fully support ActBlue. We believe the clear intent here is to cripple our movement's ability to defend freedom, democracy, and our communities both right now and as we head into next year’s critical elections. We will use every tool at our disposal to oppose him and his attacks on our movement.
