Friend — A short note. Today we learned the news that the Trump administration is getting ready to take legal action against ActBlue, which is by far the largest payment processor for Democratic campaigns like ours.
Make no mistake, this would be an unprecedented political attack by a President. And it’s only the most recent step in Trump’s plan to weaponize the justice system to suppress his critics and take away our right to free and fair elections. You should get to choose who you support, not Trump.
Trump is not a dictator, and he will not stop our movement from fighting back and defeating the far-right.
So here’s the deal. By going after ActBlue, Trump is looking to take down our small-dollar fundraising. Donations from regular folks like you.
You see, Republicans can run an entire campaign with donations from just one billionaire like Elon Musk. We rely on thousands of grassroots supporters who give just a few bucks at a time. And I’m asking you to step up today as we face this historic threat:
