Don't let Elon Musk and President Trump tell you they have some kind of mandate to demolish safety-net programs and cut people off from health care. Their attacks are extremely unpopular -- and Congress needs to stop them.

A recent survey showed that 8 in 10 people oppose the Trump administration's efforts to "defund" Planned Parenthood health centers. And a majority of self-identified Trump voters opposed these cuts.

They know that Planned Parenthood health centers are an irreplaceable lifeline for millions of women, people of color, rural communities, and people with low incomes. They know that taking away an affordable health care option like Planned Parenthood harms us all.
