America’s families are already being stretched thin from sky-high prices at the grocery store to rising prices at the gas station.

Now, Donald Trump is making things worse with a reckless trade war that will raise prices even higher, making it more difficult for hardworking people to support their families.

There are no winners in a trade war. Trump’s broad tariffs are nothing more than a tax hike on hardworking Americans.

I came to Congress to work with anyone who’s serious about making life more affordable for working families just trying to get by. That’s why I’m proud to support the bipartisan Trade Review Act, which would require Congressional oversight and approval over any new tariffs.

If Trump gets his way, working families will pay the price! These tariffs will drain the bank accounts of working families, hurt small businesses, and devastate local economies while driving up inflation.
