I’d be remiss if I didn’t send a quick note about this, John.

Yesterday, our campaign got word that the Trump administration was planning to issue an executive order attacking ActBlue – the dominant fundraising processor for Democrats across the country – and the one we ask you to use to support our campaign.

Let’s be clear: an executive order of this nature would be an egregious overreach of executive power. It’s a clear attempt to rip free speech away from Democratic grassroots donors nationwide, who participate in our democracy by donating to political campaigns.

But it’s not just about ActBlue, John.

Donald Trump is coming after Democratic groups, advocacy organizations, universities, nonprofits, and the list goes on – all for one purpose. He wants to silence those of us who are speaking out against his abuses of power.

But I will not stop speaking out.

When I am Mayor of the greatest city in the world, I will stand up to Donald Trump and his authoritarian administration with the support of the thousands of grassroots supporters who’ve contributed to my campaign.
