I’m Adrian Fontes — a proud Arizonan, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and your Secretary of State.

Today, I’m excited to announce that I am officially launching my reelection campaign because Arizonans need a leader who is committed to defending their right to vote against Trump and his cronies’ attacks.

But if I’m going to stop their attacks on your right to vote, then I need you with me from day one. If you know what’s at stake, will you consider splitting a donation between my campaign and DASS PAC to help power this grassroots campaign? [[link removed]]

Arizona, has a special place in my heart. My family has lived in these border towns for generations, dating back to before Arizona became a state.

My grandfather taught me that when you love something, you protect it. After serving in World War II, he became the mayor of Nogales. Inspired by his service, I’ve spent my career working to protect the community that raised me.

I signed up to protect our country and served as a Marine stationed in Yuma. I worked as a prosecutor, delivering justice for victims and protecting my community from further harm. And as your Secretary of State, I’ve protected our elections and democracy from threats both foreign and domestic, including lies and conspiracies from our very own president.

And now, one of his top allies is running against me. And based on his record- from defending shady cyber ninjas to trying to overturn the 2020 election — he’s made it clear he won’t hesitate to put party over country every single time.

That’s not who Arizona is—and that’s not what we stand for.

As Secretary of State, I have worked tirelessly to protect the freedom to vote, no matter your zip code, party, or background, because it’s your constitutional right.

And I won’t let anyone take that away without a fight.

But I can’t do this alone. This campaign runs on grassroots power, and if we don’t act now, we risk handing our elections over to someone who will tear down the very system that keeps them fair and free. So I’m counting on your immediate support today. Will you split a donation between this grassroots team and DASS PAC before closing out this email? [[link removed]]

Thank you for helping me kickstart my campaign!

Thank you for your dedicated support of The Democratic Association of Secretaries of State -- the only organization dedicated to electing and protecting Democratic Secretaries of States.
Right now, Republicans are changing the rules and changing the players to try and change the outcomes of future elections. Democratic Secretaries of State are the last line of defense to protect our democracy and preserve the will of the voters. Please consider a donation to fight back against the GOP's voter suppression agenda.
