Carol — Despite all of the chaos and harm being done by the Trump administration, we have a real opportunity before us.

Right now, voters of all kinds are rightfully angry about Trump’s first three months on the job. The stock market is volatile, prices are high, and his authoritarian acts continue to shock us.

His approval ratings are sinking, and earlier this month we saw millions of people take the streets in almost all 50 states to protest this administration.

At the same time, a lot of Democratic members of Congress are deciding to retire. Many of them are in competitive states and districts that we have to defend in the midterms next year.

This is the time for us to go all in on the next generation of changemaking leaders.

Look, I hear from everyone right now that they want Democrats to show up and do something. To use every tool they have at their disposal to block Trump’s far-right agenda.

I think there’s no better way to do that than by supporting young leaders and activists across the country who are ready to fight passionately and unwaveringly for our future, and in defense of our democracy.
