Q: Between the executive orders and confirmations, the last few weeks have been a whirlwind for Washington, with some questioning the legality of Trump’s actions. What alarms you the most?
A: The way the country has always worked is that the legislative branch creates, the administration implements and the judiciary enforces or interprets. And if you have one branch taking over for the other branches, you threaten an autocracy, which none of us ever thought would be the norm in the country.
