Here is the truth, directly and transparently:

Democrats across the country have received a lot fewer individual donations so far this month than had been hoped for, and certainly less than the last few months. It's not great.

Some of the reasons are totally understandable: the economy looks incredibly shaky, Elon is firing as many people as he can, and there are a lot of organizations that need help during this crazy time.

But for those who care about stopping Trump's and electing a Democratic Congress, the next few days are critical for our movement — and the Democratic Party is hoping for lots of donations to sustain their work.

Every donation the DNC receives will be used to stop Trump's push to pass tax cuts for billionaires and to elect Democrats up and down the ballot.

These Democratic candidates can't take on Trump and Elon alone. It's going to take all of us doing something that hasn't happened enough this month ... donating what we can.

So please — if stopping Trump and electing Democrats matters to you:

Make a contribution to the DNC before their FEC fundraising deadline ends in a week. They're hoping for lots and lots of individual donations to close a fundraising gap that has grown for Democrats.
