Hello John,
I hope you're having a pleasant week.
I am delighted to let you know that our LGBTQ+ Youth Ireland Autumn School, in partnership with BelongTo, is now open for registration of interest. This Autumn School will create a space to explore how LGBTQ+ youth work can offer a transformative potential for social change and stronger society.
When: 5th – 7th September
Where: TBC
|
|
At the Autumn School you can expect to
- Become empowered through a critically informed learning approach, acknowledging the inherent political dimension of youth work
- Be supported to see your work as an anti-oppressive practice that understands the impact of oppression on the LGBTQ+ community, and across other aspects of marginalised identities.
- Build your skills in critical literacy and open dialogue about homophobia, transphobia, racism, inequality, and social justice
- ... and more!
If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
All the best,
Sally
