In the last 90 days, House Republicans have done everything but accept accountability for the harm their party is doing in Congress and the White House.

They refuse to answer to their constituents about why prices are still skyrocketing, why Elon Musk has free rein over government agencies, or why Donald Trump is dismantling our public education system piece by piece.

But I’m doing things differently from my colleagues across the aisle.

Last week, I held a town hall where my constituents were welcome to ask any and all questions about the work I’m doing in Congress.

While I can’t answer for every travesty the Trump administration has committed since he took office, I need the people of NM-02 to know that I won’t sit back and watch as Republicans leave them behind in favor of unelected billionaires.

I came to Congress to fight for New Mexico — period. The people I serve are my top priority, and I’ll never put political games ahead of their needs.

That’s the kind of leadership Democrats need in Congress right now — and that’s the kind of action we need to take to flip the House blue next year.
