At the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, our mission is to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. But we can’t continue our mission without your help. Our goal this May, for Mental Health Awareness Month, is to reach a Million in May –– funds that will allow us to continue operating our chapter network across the country, funding scientific research that reveals new and innovative ways to save lives, advocating for impactful public policy related to suicide prevention and mental health, and delivering education and loss support programs to people everywhere. 
 
It's been estimated that 135 people are affected by every individual death by suicide. With this in mind, we ask that you donate $135 to help us reach our goal of a Million in May. 
 
Suicide is a leading cause of death, but together, we can continue saving lives and inspiring hope for those affected.
