🔴 Alert from The Hill: Trump plans order to cut funding for NPR and PBS

The Trump administration has urged Congress to end nearly all federal funding for public media — including NPR and PBS.
This is censorship, and we have to raise our voices before it’s too late.

The Trump administration has instructed Congress to cut $1.1 billion — or two years’ worth of funding — from the nonprofit organization that supports NPR and PBS.

Right now, we need to make our voices heard and show support for public broadcasting.

NPR and PBS are not the only targets of Republicans’ pursuit against “woke media”. Free educational kids' programming, emergency alerts and public safety information are all at risk of being cut.

Congress hasn’t acted yet, so we still have time to gather public support to stop this direct attack against free and public media.

But we must act now.
