As Donald Trump continues to prioritize China’s interests over the well-being of American workers, he's pushing to repeal the bipartisan CHIPS and Science Act, which has been vital in creating jobs, boosting innovation, and strengthening American communities.

The CHIPS Act has made a profound impact in states across the country — red, purple, and blue — bringing billions in investments and thousands of high-paying jobs. Just two years ago, the U.S. produced none of the world’s most advanced semiconductor chips. Today, we’re on track to produce nearly 30% of the global supply by 2032, thanks to this critical legislation.

Here’s the reality: Repealing the CHIPS Act would jeopardize billions of dollars in investments and endanger thousands of good-paying jobs in communities across America. 

These investments aren't just numbers—they represent the hardworking families, small businesses, and communities who stand to benefit from a thriving, competitive U.S. manufacturing sector.

As Chair of the Democratic National Committee, Ken Martin said, “Trump isn’t doing a damn thing to help working people, and his policies are putting us on the brink of a recession. This isn’t America first – it’s China first.” We can’t let that happen.

The CHIPS Act has already invested $53 billion to promote American leadership in semiconductor manufacturing. This is part of a larger $400 billion commitment that’s fostering over 115,000 good-paying jobs across the country. From construction to advanced manufacturing, the CHIPS Act is powering a future where American workers lead the world in innovation.

But all of this is at risk. We need to stop Trump from undoing the progress we’ve made.
