I look forward to May Day each year. After a long winter, it’s a joy to march in the streets with my neighbors — chanting for immigrant rights, worker rights, LGBTQ rights, and more.

As we’re getting in the streets, Congress is shaping the next federal budget. Republicans want to use their majority to ram through MAGA policy priorities in a budget process called reconciliation.2,3

If they get their way we'll likely see increases in mass detention and deportation, funded by cuts to critical services like healthcare and food assistance.

Every member of Congress needs to hear from their constituents — demanding they reject all additional funding for Trump’s cruelty.
