John,
Burned alive on the spot – it’s hard for me to even write about the evil being perpetrated against Christians in the Congo. Evil forces are moving against God's people.
We already informed you of the 70 Christians who were marched into a church and beheaded.
Our contacts in the Congo told us of yet another recent invasion by ISIS-linked militants that forced Christians to flee. The believers held out for days, but facing starvation, one Christian ventured back into town to find food for the group. He was caught and apparently burned alive on the spot. Pictures of his charred remains were circulated by the jihadists as a warning.
It's unimaginable evil. Time is of the essence as we fight to defend these Christians.
At the ACLJ, we are moving with urgency. We are mobilizing our international offices at the U.N. and beyond to drive action. We’re working with contacts on the ground to engage Congress in addressing the atrocities perpetrated against Christians in the Congo. And NEXT WEEK, we’re sending a vital legal report of the atrocities being carried out by ISIS to top U.N. officials, demanding an end to the mass executions.
We MUST have the resources to carry out this vital mission. When you donate TODAY, your Tax-Deductible gift will be DOUBLED. But our Life & Liberty Drive deadline is also next week, and we’re far short of our goal.
Have Your Gift DOUBLED To Save Christians.
Last month our senior legal team was at the U.N. in Geneva, aggressively advocating for persecuted Christians with world leaders. Now we need each and every one of you.
