From record-breaking wildfires to toxic air days, Californians are already
living with the consequences of climate inaction. But Earth Day is a reminder:
we still have time to choose a better path.

I’m proud to represent Sacramento, a city that knows the value of clean
energy, environmental justice, and innovation. In Congress, I’m pushing back
against those who want to dismantle climate protections, slash investments in
clean energy, and give polluters a free pass.

We can create a future powered by solar, wind, and battery storage - not one
fueled by more tax breaks to Big Oil.
