John, if I had a nickel for every time we heard about Pete Hegseth breaking operational security by using Signal, I’d have two nickels now.

This is serious.

Hegeth is not taking the job seriously. He can’t be trusted. Frankly, he was never up to the job in the first place. We warned about this back in his confirmation hearing, and we’re in this position today because my Republican colleagues did not listen. But the best time to fix that mistake is today.

There’s got to be an investigation into Hegseth’s conduct, there needs to be accountability for this, and there absolutely has to be an actionable plan from the Trump Administration to prevent anything like this from happening again.

But before that happens, Pete Hegseth needs to resign or be fired.

He was unqualified and unprepared on day one. He’s proven it now. Our troops can’t afford another day with this guy putting their lives in jeopardy.
