“Leave it better than you found it.”

That’s what I’ve always told my boys, Theo and Henry, when we go into nature.

Unsurprisingly, it’s also a reminder that a lot of elected Republicans could use. Ted Cruz said that “climate change is not science.” John Thune said that Democrats are pursuing “a radical environmental agenda.” Donald Trump said that efforts to mitigate the climate crisis are “very expensive global warming bullshit.”

I could go on and on and on.

I won’t stay silent as the GOP attempts to deny the basic existence of the climate crisis and diminish its urgency.

That’s why I helped pass the most monumental climate bill in American history and continue to advocate for clean energy, green jobs and holding polluters accountable.

In honor of Earth Day, will you chip in to power my ongoing fight to mitigate the climate crisis and unseat climate deniers in the midterms? [[link removed]]

There is no higher-stakes fight than this one. We’re called, right now, to save our planet for our children and future generations.

Together,

Kirsten

A note from Kirsten:
John, I am truly honored to have won reelection, and I promise to continue the critical work toward bipartisan solutions for New Yorkers as we enter this new term.
While we had many victories in New York this election season, our fight to retake control of the Senate is far from over.
Please, donate today to make sure my team and I can continue securing crucial progress on the issues that matter the most and help flip the Senate blue in 2026. [[link removed]]
Thank you,
Kirsten Gillibrand
