Like many of you, I’ve been disappointed by our leadership. While Americans are maxing out their credit cards to pay for groceries, fighting in the toughest job-market in years to find a good paying job, and can’t afford to move out of their parents' houses, our government is being sold to the highest bidder.
We need a Congressman who can meet the fast moving challenges of today with innovation and deliver results to make life easier, more affordable, and peaceful for everyone.

My story starts with my parents: Jamaican immigrants who moved to Snellville to live the American dream. They instilled in me the importance and value of getting an education and bringing back what you've learned to help your community.
I taught math in Atlanta Public schools. There, I saw political decisions getting in the way of what students and families needed, so I stepped up to become the youngest elected member of the Gwinnett County school board.
I've spent my entire career making sure our schools were leading for the future and not languishing in the past. I'm ready to do the same for our country in Congress.
