For 55 years now, we’ve recognized Earth Day on April 22nd (today!). Here’s how MAGA Republicans are celebrating:

Logging our national forests
Dismantling the National Parks Service
Opening up treasured public lands for mining and drilling

They’re preparing to sell our precious open land and natural resources to the highest bidder.

Science (and history) shows us what happens when we plunder and pollute our natural environment: people get sick and die. That’s why the Trump Administration is firing Environmental Protection Agency scientists, too. Because they don’t want the American people to know how bad their actions will be for public health.

We’re witnessing an all-out assault on our shared public space and natural resources by Trump and his enablers, and I need more Democrats by my side in Congress who will fight to protect our environment, not pillage it.
