Workshop Spotlight: Campaigns 101
If you register to join us on Saturday, you'll have access to 8 amazing talks, panels, and workshops, including Campaigns 101: The Nuts and Bolts of Building a Winning Strategy :
It can be easy to identify the issue that we want to organize a campaign around, but where do we go from there? In this workshop, you'll hear from leaders in the transit justice, immigrant justice, jail justice and climate justice movements to see how they identified allies and targets, tactics, messaging and research needs in their respective campaigns, and built a solid plan to win. Participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to collectively strategize on their own campaigns with these tools, or grapple with common scenarios together to develop an effective organizing campaign.
This workshop will be facilitated by three fabulous organizers from Pittsburgh and beyond:

ACTION ALERT🚨🚨🚨Stop the cuts! Rally to save our service!
Even if you can't make it to Spring Training this weekend, we want you to come to our rally on April 29th, from 1:30-2:30 PM . This is a direct action to stop PRT's proposed cuts and support an expanded state transit budget for all!
Devastating cuts of up to 40% of our bus and T service and 62% of ACCESS services have been proposed to take effect in Allegheny County if the Pennsylvania state legislature fails to pass new funding for transit. The impact would be staggering. But riders, transit workers and Allegheny County elected officials are standing together to say, β€œNOT ON OUR WATCH!”
On the first day of Pittsburgh Regional Transit's public hearings, 4/29, join transit riders, workers, County Executive Sara Innamorato, and Pittsburgh Regional Transit CEO Katherine Kelleman to show that we are united in the fight for state funding, for the transit service we deserve!
