Welcome to the latest edition of Emily’s Notes — updates from Washington’s 6th and Washington, D.C.!

Here’s what I’ve been up to:

• My first 100 days — Time flies! It’s hard to believe it has been 100 days since I was sworn into Congress. Here’s a snapshot [[link removed]] of what my team and I have done in office in that time:

• Hands Off — On April 5, millions of Americans protested the actions of Trump, Musk, and Congressional Republicans in over 1,200 cities and towns. I attended the #HandsOff rally in Bremerton, then spoke to Melissa Murray of MSNBC [[link removed]] about the experience.

• Town hall #7 and #8 — Our town hall blitz continues! Hundreds of neighbors, ranging from seniors to high school students, gathered in Shelton and Port Townsend to express their concerns.

• Showing up — At many of the town halls, my neighbors urged Democrats to hold events in “red” districts where Republicans are refusing to listen to their constituents. The idea has taken off around the country, and on April 25, I’m headed to Spokane to hold a People’s Town Hall [[link removed]] in Washington’s 5th District! Folks in Eastern Washington deserve to hear from someone who takes their concerns seriously about threats to Medicaid, Social Security, and our civil liberties.

Now, this is the part where I ask for a donation.
