Here’s what you need to know about the DNC’s latest lawsuit against Trump and DOGE:

Trump recently signed an executive order that attempts to suppress voters, upend voter registration systems, stop states from counting eligible mail ballots, and withhold federal funding from dozens of states in the process.

As DNC General Counsel Andie Levien explains, the threat we face right now is very real. After floating a third term, Trump and Elon Musk are taking steps to undermine our elections. That’s why we filed this lawsuit to stop them.

We’re already suing to block Trump’s hostile takeover of the Federal Election Commission, and now we’re gearing up for yet another legal battle that will shape the future of our country.
