Texas Tough was a huge success, and I want to share the details with you!

First off, this event was a fundraiser.  It is our biggest source of income for the entire year, and it's vital we meet our goals.  We did!

      • We had a larger audience than we've ever had!  565 guests! Previous record was 525.

      •  We had more sponsorships then we've ever had, thanks to all the elected officials who jumped in.  This includes at least 4 dozen judges alone!

    • Notice we created a NEW sponsorship for Patriot Owned Businesses?  Remember them next time you're in need!  You'll see some of them even donated more than the requested amount.  We'll keep a list on our website of these special donors so you can refer back to them.

      • And, I saved the biggest accomplishment for last...  We exceeded our fundraising goal by 63%!!!!  WOW!!!

Thank you so much for your support.  I cannot emphasize that enough!

But... (there's always a but)...

Please note, our goals for the gala were not the same as our needs for the year.  I mentioned in my speech how great that need is if we are going to continue doing all that we do.  The gala got us 37% of the way there!  Again, WOW!

But obviously, since we're only about 1/3 there, we still need your help.  Remember how I also mentioned in my speech that TTP has a larger-than-average number of monthly donors... but that the typical donation amount is much smaller than average?  We're offering an incentive to those who will increase that monthly donation.

  • If you are a new monthly donor to TTP and set up a minimum donation of $25/mo, we will send you a free t-shirt.

  • If you are already donating monthly to TTP and increase your monthly dollar amount, we will send you a TTP gift card equal to the amount of your increase.  In other words, if you currently donate $25 and increase it to $35, we'll send you a $10 gift card to our store.  If you increase by $25 or $50 or any amount, we will send you a gift card in that amount.  Reply to this email to set it up.

I hope you had a fabulous time at Texas Tough!  We worked really hard to make it the biggest, best, and least expensive gala around... and I think we accomplished that!  We want to hear what YOU think.  Please click the blue bar below to complete a questionnaire for us so we can know how we did.

And what you've all been waiting for... PICTURES!  Check out the smiles, witness the fun, and see how marvelous everyone looked for the big night.

And for those of you who took advantage of the fun pics offered by Properazzi Photo Booths in front of our twin sister cannons, you can find those here.

I was blessed to share Texas Tough with my husband, my daughter, my mom, and my brother!

It was a great evening, and TTP is doing great things.  Let's continue the momentum!
For the love of Texas,

PS.  Just for fun...

In honor of Victory In San Jacinto -- the day Texas won her independence (and the day we commemorate with Texas Tough every year), the McCarty family named our 2 new baby chicks Eleanor and Elizabeth.  Those are the names of the Twin Sister cannons that Cincinnati sent to Texas -- and that's how we won the war!  Here are our Easter chicks:

And here are the replicas we shoot off at our gala!  This year we added flames!
