John,
Last week, I hosted a town hall in Hempstead to continue the conversations we started on the campaign trail – about what it means to fight for and deliver results for Nassau County.
I’m honored to represent NY-04, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to meet with Long Islanders face-to-face (or virtually!), listen to your concerns, and respond directly to the issues that matter most to you.
While House Republicans continue to hide from their constituents and refuse to hold town halls, I remain committed to promoting greater transparency and accountability in public office.
It’s clear that Long Islanders are fed up with Trump’s reckless policies and tired of House Republicans sitting by and enabling his extreme agenda.
Right now, we have an administration that is starting reckless trade wars, freezing federal funds and grants, indiscriminately firing federal workers, and pushing for cuts to critical programs like Social Security and Medicaid to pay for tax cuts for the rich, while working families struggle with skyrocketing costs.
That’s why I’m not just showing up – I’m fighting back. I’m in the halls of Congress every day to find real solutions that will help support working families and stop Trump’s dangerous agenda before it does even more harm to our communities.
If you’re with me, I hope I can count on you to chip in anything you can today so we can defend this seat, take back the House, and hold Trump and his allies accountable!
