Team, if this NPR report is true, it means that now is the time to put maximum pressure on the Trump administration to force out Hegseth.
Friend, we’re only three months into this administration and the amount and severity of scandals are simply staggering.
For Hegseth, it started before he was even confirmed as Secretary of Defense, when details emerged around credible accusations of sexual misconduct and substance abuse.
Then just a few weeks ago we learned that Hegseth included an outside journalist in a group chat where top-secret plans for airstrikes in Yemen were discussed among the highest security officials in government.
Now we’ve learned that Hegseth texted these war plans to a group that included his wife, brother, and attorney from a personal phone, just minutes after being updated by a senior military official.
We and many others warned from the start that Pete Hegseth is unfit and unqualified to serve at the head of the largest military in the world. Hegseth has proved those warnings right (and then some) in just a matter of weeks on the job. It’s time for him to go.
We’re looking to get at least 10,000 signatures by this afternoon to show huge grassroots support behind this push.
