John, I’ll get straight to the point:
Pete Hegseth needs to resign – now.
Last month, reports revealed that Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth leaked classified intelligence about a military operation in Yemen to a reporter via a Signal group chat. Then, just yesterday, we learned he shared sensitive attack details in a separate Signal chat — this time with family members and his lawyer.
This wasn’t an accident. It was a deliberate leak of classified information.
Sharing classified intelligence through unsecured, unauthorized channels isn’t just irresponsible — it puts our troops and missions at risk. It undermines our security, and it emboldens our adversaries.
This is a leadership failure, and the administration must be held accountable. This isn’t just reckless — it’s an insult to everyone who serves.
Pete Hegseth must resign, and I won’t let this be swept under the rug.
I didn’t stay silent when Trump tried to extort President Zelenskyy on a phone call nearly six years ago. I won’t stay silent now while his Secretary of Defense endangers American lives.
By continuing to call out Trump and his allies, I’m putting a target on my back. I wouldn’t have it any other way – but I need your support to keep fighting back, speaking the truth, demanding accountability, and protecting our democracy.
