As the Easter holiday approaches, I want to wish you and your family a blessed and joyous time as we celebrate the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Just as our Lord and Savior overcame the cross, Easter Sunday reminds us that even in life’s toughest moments, we’re never alone. We’re called to lean into our faith, trusting that God is working through every trial to bring redemption and purpose to his Kingdom.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead."

I am blessed to have a wonderful family – my two sons, Max and Jax, and my husband, Matt. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as your representative in Congress and for my faith that grounds and guides me along the way. 

To all who serve our nation – from men and women in uniform to our first responders – I am beyond thankful for your service and the sacrifices you make to keep Iowa and our country safe. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers this Easter season.

• My pro-worker, pro-family bills, including my friend Rep. Messmer’s bill empowering working families, advanced through the House Education and Workforce Committee.
• I spoke out in support of Stephanie Turner—alongside my colleagues in the GOP Women’s Caucus—a female athlete who refused to compete against a biological man in a women’s tournament. Girls sports is for girls only!
• I discussed combatting the CCP's illicit trade practices with Kevin O'Leary, aka “Mr. Wonderful,” during a hearing for the Select Committee on China.
• I sent blessings to all on Palm Sunday to kick off Holy Week.
• I thanked Secretary Rollins and President Trump for supporting biofuels and ethanol.
• I applauded President Trump's work to bring industry and investments back to America.
• I caught up with the Military Officers Association of America. I'm grateful for all they do to support and advocate for our brave military officers and their families.
• I joined Governor Reynolds and the rest of the Iowa delegation in advocating for major disaster relief in Iowa.
• In light of Holy Week, I shared my recent Facebook Live with Pastor Jason Ishmael, where we discussed the newly created White House Faith Office.
• I thanked Secretary Rubio, Adam Boehler, and the administration for their steadfast work to bring Americans home.
• On Tax Day, I recognized the massive amount of taxpayer waste DOGE has uncovered in our government.
• I thanked Secretary Rollins for standing up for growing kids' healthy milk options in schools!
• I joined Rep. Moore to protect Iowans against tracking and registries of lawful gun purchases.
