Yinz know how I feel: The Union Way of Life is *sacred*. You don’t mess with it. You always gotta fight for it.
So I wanted to send a quick update on some union wins lately and how we can keep working together to fight for what's right. 👇
🩺 Our nurses are getting it done → From the Geisinger nurses in Luzerne County who just won a new contract to the hospital workers across PA holding the line for fair pay and safe staffing – these folks are doing heroic work every day. I stand with them.
⚖️ Unions are taking the Trump administration to court → Trump’s people are trying to strip union membership from *1 million* federal workers. But the unions are suing to fight back, and I'm with them 💯. Attacking union membership is deeply un-American. See yinz in court.
🍽️ I just introduced a new bill to support striking workers → Right now, if you go on strike, you can lose your eligibility for food stamps. It’s messed up. No worker should have to choose between standing up for their rights and feeding their kids.
🔩 Billionaires are trying to divide and conquer, but they don't know who they're messing with → Steelworkers, contractors, cement masons, plasterers – they built PA. They paved the roads we drive on and built the schools we send our kids to. While Trump tries to push his union-busting Project 2025 agenda, I'll keep fighting for a future where your skills are valued the way they should be.
All across PA and the country, union folks are holding the line. And I need every single union worker walking the picket line to know that my team and I have their back here in Washington.
No billionaire, no corporation, no DC lobbyist will ever matter more to me than a union nurse, steelworker, cement mason, plasterer or teacher fighting for what’s right.
