John,
The so-called SAVE Act just passed the House. But don’t let the name fool you, this isn’t about saving anything, it’s about suppressing your voice, your vote, and your power. It’s built to silence eligible voters by forcing them to prove their citizenship again and again, in person, with hard-to-access documents like a passport or birth certificate.
That’s sabotage. And it’s aimed squarely at women, seniors, students, veterans, newly naturalized citizens, and rural voters. This isn’t policy, it’s persecution. It’s voter suppression wrapped in red tape and fear mongering.
Let’s be clear: If the Senate doesn’t stop this bill, it will make registering to vote harder than buying a gun in many states. It will leave Americans purged from the rolls without notice. And it will overwhelm election officials with impossible verification tasks designed to fail.
We’ve seen this playbook before, restrict the vote, rig the system, then pretend it's all about “integrity.” We’re not falling for it.
Tell the Senate to REJECT the anti-voter SAVE Act and defend our freedom to vote.
If the SAVE Act becomes law, the people who built this country, immigrants, elders, everyday workers, would be the first to lose their voice. Naturalized citizens who’ve voted for decades would suddenly be second-guessed. Married women who changed their name? Denied. College students who moved dorms? Scrutinized.
This is systematic disenfranchisement, plain and simple.
And that’s exactly what extremists want: a smaller electorate they can manipulate. We say no. We say every citizen gets a say. No one should be shut out of democracy by bureaucratic traps or partisan games.
This is a moment to stand tall for free and fair elections. This is about whether we believe democracy works best when more people participate, not fewer.
Add your name and tell the Senate: stop the SAVE Act, and stop the assault on our right to vote.
Together, we will protect the power of the people to decide the future of this country.
