I wanted to send a note to you directly to thank you for the outpouring of support my family and I received after an arson attack at the Governor’s Residence on Sunday.

Lori and I are truly overwhelmed by the prayers and messages of support that we’ve received from our friends and loved ones, caring citizens of this great Commonwealth, and from all of you — across Pennsylvania and the United States. I want you to know that your prayers lift us up — and in this moment of darkness, we choose to see that light. We appreciate the light you’ve shined upon us.

I am eternally grateful to the good people of Pennsylvania for giving me the honor to serve as their 48th Governor, and to all of you for your support.
